Through custom packaging engineering and in-house prototyping, we develop packaging and handling solutions tailored to each customer’s specific parts, processes, and performance requirements. Every project is managed from concept through final approval to ensure functional performance, repeatability, and compliance with both industry and customer standards.

Trust The Specialized Packaging Experts
When failure is not an option, trust the mission-critical packaging experts to engineer solutions that protect your most advanced components —from concept to completion.
Every custom project moves through 3D CAD design, in-house tooling and prototyping, material selection based on your part’s environmental and load requirements, and quality validation before it goes to production. Because engineering, tooling, and manufacturing all happen at CCI’s own Minnesota and New Mexico facilities, the same team that designs your package also builds and tests it — no third-party tooling shop in the loop.
Stock products (Corstat® Totes, IC Shippers, kitting trays, and similar) are proven designs ready to ship fast. Custom engineering is for parts that don’t fit an existing footprint, need a specific material for ESD/FOD control, or have to satisfy a customer or industry specification — CCI designs the package around the part rather than the part around a catalog item.
Yes. Prototyping and iteration happen in-house, so a design can be validated for fit, function, and repeatability before final tooling is cut, reducing the risk of costly changes after production starts.
Aerospace, medical device, defense, optics/precision instruments, and electronics manufacturing — industries where a packaging failure can mean a damaged high-value part, a contamination event, or a compliance issue, not just a shipping cost.
Material selection is driven by what the part actually needs to survive: ESD sensitivity, FOD (foreign object debris) control, physical load and drop protection, chemical or cleanroom compatibility, and any customer or regulatory spec. CCI works from its own material library — including proprietary Corstat® and Kleanstat Flex™ formulations — rather than a single generic plastic.
Timelines vary with part complexity and tooling requirements. The “Start a Custom Package Discussion” step is where CCI scopes the specific timeline for your part.
